Churrasquería

Beef and vermouth for everyone

Churrasquería is a steakhouse at Catamarca 1901 and Dorrego, in downtown Rosario, Argentina. A small, warmly lit dining room with an open charcoal grill and plates put together with care. We work with charcoal-grilled cuts, two 45-day dry-aged beef cuts, fish from the Paraná river, homemade pasta, vermouth we make ourselves, and an Argentine wine list arranged by region. We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, and we seat guests in order of arrival: we do not take reservations.

What sets us apart

45-day dry-aged beef

We dry-age in our own chamber for 45 days. Two cuts: a 600 g bone-in dry-aged ribeye and a 400 g dry-aged NY strip, both served with a side of your choice. Because they depend on time in the chamber, it is worth asking what is available that day.

The bread and the soup

We knead the bread every day, here. It comes out of the oven throughout service, so it reaches the table warm, and it is one of the first things people mention when they come back. You can take it home too: it is in the pantry, in 350 g loaves.

And in winter we welcome you with hot soup. You do not order it and you are not charged for it: it arrives as soon as you sit down, to take the cold of the street off you before you open the menu. It is our way of making sure the table starts with something warm in hand.

Made in house

The house vermouth

We make our own vermouth and pour it from the tap. The Rosso is Carpano Rosso, Cynar and Campari, with soda, an olive skewer and a slice of orange; the Bianco is Carpano Bianco, hesperidina, soda and lemon. They are served as 90 cc with soda on the side, the way it has always been drunk, and there is a seasonal aperitif as well.

Vermouth hour is part of the house: you are welcome to come just for that, sit at the bar in the middle of the afternoon and order one with a few olives. That is where the name of everything else comes from — beef and vermouth for everyone. If you liked it, the bottle is in the pantry to take home.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most

Where is Churrasquería?

At Catamarca 1901 and Dorrego, in downtown Rosario, province of Santa Fe, Argentina. We are a few blocks from the Monumento a la Bandera and the Córdoba pedestrian street.

What are your opening hours?

We are open Monday to Saturday, for lunch from 12:00 to 15:00 and for dinner from 19:30 to 00:00. We are closed on Sundays.

Do I need a reservation?

We do not take reservations: the dining room works on a first-come, first-served basis. On Friday and Saturday nights it is worth arriving early, because it fills up.

How much does dinner cost at Churrasquería?

The average per person runs between $30,000 and $60,000 Argentine pesos depending on what you order. Grill cuts range from $21,000 to $66,000 and starters from $5,500 to $30,000. The prices on this menu are from July 2026.

Do you have dry-aged beef?

Yes. We work with two cuts dry-aged for 45 days: a 600 g bone-in ribeye and a 400 g NY strip, both served with a side of your choice. Because they depend on time in the ageing chamber, it is worth asking what is available that day.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes, several dishes are suitable. Everything from the grill is cooked without flour, and so are the pork sausage and the lamb sausage we make ourselves, along with several sides and starters. What we cannot claim is that the kitchen is gluten-free: we work with flour in the same space and we are not in a position to guarantee there is no cross-contamination. Tell whoever serves you as soon as you arrive and we will tell you exactly what you can order that day.

Do you have a wine list?

Yes, and it is published with prices. Nearly 90 Argentine wines arranged by province: Mendoza (with a separate cellar selection), Salta, San Juan, Río Negro, Jujuy, La Rioja and Buenos Aires, plus one white from Chile. There is malbec, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, bonarda, pinot noir, pinot meunier, sangiovese, tempranillo, tannat, merlot, petit verdot, ancellotta, chardonnay, albariño, riesling, sauvignon blanc, torrontés, gewürztraminer, rosés, two orange wines, traditional-method sparkling wines and a champenoise cider. Two wines are available by the glass at $5,000, and wines from the list are 15% off to take home. We also make our own vermouths and pour them from the tap. See the full wine list.

What is the house vermouth?

It is our own vermouth, poured from the tap. The Rosso is Carpano Rosso, Cynar and Campari, with soda, an olive skewer and a slice of orange; the Bianco is Carpano Bianco, hesperidina, soda and lemon. They are served as 90 cc with soda at $5,000, and there is a seasonal aperitif too. Vermouth hour is part of the house: you are welcome to come just for that. To take home, the bottle is in the pantry.

Is the bread homemade?

Yes. We knead the bread every day on the premises and it comes out of the oven throughout service, so it reaches the table warm. You can take it home too: it is in the pantry, in 350 g loaves. And in winter we welcome every table with a hot soup, free of charge, as soon as they sit down.

Do you have vegetarian options?

Yes. Among the sides there are ember-roasted vegetables with brie, roasted cauliflower, leek soup and oyster mushroom tiradito; among the starters, the crispy chipaguasú corn cake; and among the mains, mushroom risotto, sweet potato gnocchi and butternut squash culurgiones.

Can I order takeaway?

Yes, we do takeaway: you order in the dining room and we prepare it for you to take with you. We do not deliver and we do not work with delivery apps.

What should I order?

What our guests order most: the ribeye, the skirt steak, the grilled sweetbreads, the smoked provolone, the Paraná river fish empanadas and, for dessert, the 70% chocolate lava cake.
